My name is Ana Rosa Lima. I am 18 years old, reside in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and a senior in high school. I was born on Sept 15th, in Baeza Ecuador. My parents were teenagers (atleast my birth mother, I don't know about my birth father). My mother did her best to take care of me, but at the age of 1/2 a year, I was in a state of malnutrition. I was dying. Sad story right? Well my mom did the right thing, and by age 1 1/2 I was promised to a family in America. Shortly after my second birthday, I was flown to Orlando, Florida where I was united with my mother, father, Brandon (oldest brother), Hailee (sister), and Mario (youngest brother). I feel blessed to be put into such a happy home. I am so grateful for each and every person who has stepped into my life and made footprints on my heart. Change of subject. Right now I am going through so many changes you wouldn't believe it. I've gone from a hyper little girl to a spunky young lady, and am currently near adulthood. With this adulthood I am so rapidly approaching has came a new self-sense. I find myself thinking about "mature" things, like cleaning up after people and how I can't really stand loud music anymore. This makes me scared, but happy. Right now, I am just savioring the last bit of childhood I have left, which is high school. Next year I will be attending either University of South Carolina or Florida State University. That will be my next big challenge in life. When I was fighting for life at a young age, I didn't give up. Now when my adult life is just beginning, I will keep that fight alive in my heart.
